Angie is a Tempress X Enzo daughter who started her show career just a few days over 6 months old winning Best Puppy in Speciality Sweeps at Inland Empire Hound Speciatly in Palm Springs Jan 2011. Angie is the 2nd Tempress/Enzo pup to become a Dual Champion in filed and conformation. Angie was handled to her AKC Conformation Championship by co-breeder & co-owner Helen Hayek and David Hayek. Angie and Helen recently won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at the prestigeous BARRC (Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club) show winning BOS over top ranked champion females from the classes in 2012. Those wins alloted Angie's name to be placed on 3 of the 6 perpertual trophies offered by BARRC. She finished her Championship with her last 3 wins by going winners bitch, best of winners, best of oppoiste sex over specials and top ranked special bitchs. As a new Champion, Angie won an Award of Merit (AOM) at the 2012 Inland Empire Hound Specialty and Best of Opposite Sex at the Prestigeous Palm Springs Kennel Club in 2012 where both shows had entries larger than 122 Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
She recently won Best of opposite sex (BOS) and Select Bitch in 2013 at the Prestigeous Palm Springs Kennel Club with an entry greater than 118 dogs toward her Grand Championship. Angie finished her Grand Championship with co-breeder co -owner Helen Hayek.
Angie loves to lure course winning( BOB) Best of Breed her 1st weekend out for the major.The next weekend out another BOB win and following in her mother's footsteps went on to win a Best in Field (BIF)under AKC Judge Vern Staack. She finished her AKC field championship in 3 weekends of lure coursing.. Angie closed out 2012 ranked as the #16 AKC lure coursing Rhodesian Ridgeback with limited running. As of June 15 Angie remains in AKC lure coursing top 10 for the 2nd year in a row. .
She continues to run the field for her LCX points and as she loves to show, she continues to win as a Grand champion/Dual Champion, seeding her #10 conformation bitch per RRCUS and #2 Gch/DC bitch for 2013.
Angie is owned & loved by Bob & Adelle Lesin in Ca and co-owned by Helen Hayek and myself.
